Terms of Use
1. Website Operator and Scope
These terms govern use of the public website of Strategic Management and Support Services Philippines Inc., referred to on this website as SMASS Philippines, Inc. (SMASS). Our office is at Unit 34-I Philexcel Business Park, M. A. Roxas Highway, Clark Freeport Zone, Philippines 2023.
The website describes our aviation-related administrative, logistics, equipment and facility maintenance coordination, service support, and related business activities. Use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not accept them, discontinue use.
2. Business Inquiries and Service Agreements
Submitting an inquiry or receiving an automated receipt does not create a service contract, reserve resources, authorize work, or confirm a response time, price, availability, or scope. A service engagement depends on a separate written agreement or other documented acceptance by authorized representatives.
The engagement documents determine responsibilities, deliverables, commercial terms, confidentiality, data handling, and any service levels. If they differ from these website terms on the services they cover, the engagement documents govern to that extent.
3. Aviation Responsibilities and Regulatory Boundaries
Website descriptions and images are general business information. They are not aircraft maintenance instructions, engineering advice, approved technical data, an airworthiness determination, a release to service, or approval of an aircraft part.
Nothing on this website establishes a Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) approval, maintenance organization rating, personnel license, operator authorization, or manufacturer endorsement. Regulated work must be assessed against the required approvals, competent personnel, current technical instructions, and agreed scope before it is accepted or performed. Customers and service providers retain the duties assigned to them by law and their contracts.
4. Safety, Urgency, and Operational Communications
The website and inquiry form are not emergency, flight dispatch, aircraft defect, or aircraft-on-ground (AOG) response channels. Do not rely on a website message for time-critical coordination or safety instructions. Use your established operator, airport, maintenance-provider, or emergency reporting channels as appropriate.
Send only general requirements through the public form. Agree on authorized contacts and an appropriate channel before exchanging maintenance records, passenger or crew information, restricted airport information, credentials, or other confidential operational material.
5. Acceptable Use
Provide accurate contact information and submit material you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate another person, submit malicious or unlawful material, send unsolicited bulk messages, seek unauthorized access, disrupt the site, or bypass access and abuse-prevention controls.
Security testing requires separate written authorization and an agreed scope. Please use the Security Disclosure Statement to report a concern without carrying out additional unauthorized testing.
6. Website Content and Intellectual Property
You may view public pages, share links, and use the information for legitimate business evaluation. Copyright, brand assets, third-party licenses, and the limits on reuse are explained in the Copyright Notice. No website statement gives permission to claim that you represent SMASS or have its endorsement.
Illustrative imagery does not establish ownership of an aircraft, equipment, premises, or a technical capability. Confirm service-specific requirements directly with an authorized SMASS representative.
7. Privacy and External Services
The Privacy Notice explains how website inquiry and technical information are handled and how to exercise privacy rights. These terms do not waive those rights.
External websites, email applications, telephone services, and messaging platforms have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or reference does not by itself establish endorsement, partnership, or control by SMASS.
8. Accuracy, Availability, and Liability
We take reasonable care with website information, but descriptions may change and the site may be interrupted for maintenance, hosting issues, or other reasons. Verify information important to a business or operational decision directly with us. Website access is not a promise of uninterrupted service or fitness for a particular operational purpose.
To the extent permitted by Philippine law, SMASS is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from reliance solely on general website information or from site unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, or changes obligations under a separate service agreement.
9. Applicable Law, Questions, and Updates
Philippine law governs these website terms, subject to mandatory rights and applicable jurisdiction rules. Raise website or business questions at operations@smassph.com. Service disputes follow the applicable engagement documents; these terms do not create a new arbitration requirement or exclusive court venue.
Revised terms will be posted with an updated date and apply prospectively as permitted by law. Revisions do not retrospectively alter a signed service agreement.
